About this Item
This is the 1969 Second Edition in hardcover format of "Ward Lock's Red Guide : North - West Devon - Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Barnstable, Bideford, Westward Ho!, Clovelly". The book has helpful descriptive text to guide tourists in the area, including excellent maps, and a good number of interesting scenic photographs and numerous handsome line drawings of scenery and architecture. There is a lot of interest in this book, including a healthy dollop of history. The book was edited by Reginald J. W. Hammond. I wish I had all the Ward Lock Red Guides on hand, for they are wonderful!
