Darwin, Northern Territory Department of Health, 1979 (second edition)/ [1973]. Quarto, viii, 244 pages with 3 illustrations. Pictorial card covers rubbed and sunned; ink signature to the front cover, with ink ownership details to the title page; an excellent copy. The 'Bush Book' was 'a wonderful support for the bush nurse . Before this, nurses might carry with them such texts as they had bought during their southern hospital training which focused on hospital practice and rarely helped when working as a lone practitioner in remote tropical and arid environs nor with the varied clientele' (Trove).
