Northern Traders: Caribou Hair in the Stew; Archie Hunter; Sono Nis Press, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, 1983. Archie Hunter’s reminiscences begin in 1924 when, at the age of 18, he left Scotland to serve anywhere in North America, in whatever capacity the Hudson’s Bay Company required, for a term of 5 years. There are slight spots on the front of the pages and there is a gift inscription on the half-title. The dust jacket is also in near-fine condition and is now enclosed in a protective mylar wrap. Overall, a very attractive story of the North.…
