Notable Historical Trials, Selected and Edited by Justin Lovill, Hardcovers, 4-Volume Set, Folio Edition, Second Printing (2010). "Notable Historical Trials" was first published by The Folio Society in 1999. All four volumes are second printings published in 2010. Volume I: From Socrates to the Gunpowder Plot. The book contains an Introduction by John Mortimer. Volume II: From Galileo to Admiral Byng. Volume III: From the Boston Massacre to Queen Caroline. Volume IV: From Burke and Hare to Oscar Wilde. All four volumes are near fine, with beautiful marbled boards. The slipcase shows some general shelf wear. A lovely set. (See pictures). The price of this very heavy set has taken into consideration the costs of postage.
