Signed Limited Edition, 318 pages, this copy is No 72 of 250, bound in woodcut patterned cloth boards and buckram cloth spine, the spine is a little faded and titles subdued, edges a little darker, all printed on hand made paper, uncut edges, crown octavo. *NOTE: The book is dedicated to her partner Wogan Phillips who was himself a printer, this semi-autobiographical novel about two different women in their 30's. In this story of two strangers who cast an otherworldly enchantment on an entire town and its inhabitants, "A Note in Music presents an intensely moving portrait of marriage-its disappointments, joys, jealousies, fears, and loneliness, and the truths that remain unspoken. No English writer has told the pains of women in love more truly or more movingly.".

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
