Notebook to Heaven

Discover the history and spiritual mysteries behind Solomon Island's own Christian Fellowship Church ...

In the early 1900s, deep in the interior of North New Georgia, Silas Eta grew up like any other village boy. And yet, the Holy Spirit was already at work, preparing him for a purpose beyond human design.

When the Methodist Mission brough the name of Jesus to his village, the teenage Silas became captivated. Through years of relentless prayer, obedience, Bible reading, and trails, he found the mysteries of the divine, closer than he realised. In the blink of an eye, he transformed from following Jesus to living His life as a born-again son of God.

Such spiritual revelation could not be contained, and - despite opposition from intellectual-minded Methodist clerics - the Holy Spirit spread across the islands, transforming hearts, minds, and spirits and revealing itself fully in the flesh of Holy Mama. In 1960, a final rejection from the Methodist Mission led to the birth of the Christian Fellowship Church - a church where the Holy Spirit, rather than hierarchy, guides the faithful.

Both historical testimony and theological invitation, NOTEBOOK TO HEAVEN presents a bold vision where salvation is not the conclusion but the beginning of divine life. It challenges a Bible-centred religion devoid of spiritual embodiment and calls believers to live union with the Trinity, merging human spirit with the Holy Spirit and rising into sonship with God. Thus, we can live the life of Jesus - a life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
