A study of late 18th century American newspapers, with many large folding facsimiles. Extended version of a paper read in 1924 before the Societe d'Histoire Moderne of Paris by the esteemed professor Fay of the University of Clermont-Ferrand. Blue-green paper over boards, paper title label and label on front cover. Spine label a bit soiled. Near fine, in a broken slipcase 25 folding facsimiles.
