Hardcover. Purple cloth-covered boards with gilt stamping on the front cover (mostly chipped away but still visible). Cloth is sun-faded, stained, and a tad loose on the boards but remains intriguing looking as old books do. Front gutter cracked through. Title page dated 1877. No copyright page. 74 pages plus 2 pages of ads. Interiors are clean and free of marks of tears. Overall, a poor but very readable copy.
