This is a collection of two odd volumes by George Bush: * "Notes Critical and Practical of the Book of EXODUS" - 1844; Volume II only (of a 2-volume set; Illustrated; Chapters XXI to XL). * "Notes Critical and Practical of the Book of GENESIS" - 1846; Volume I only (of a 2-volume set; Chapters I to XXI). Both books were published by Mark H. Newman in New York. "Designed as a General Help to Biblical Reading and Instruction." "EXODUS" contains numerous in-text illustrations. Condition: Clean covers and spines. Bright gilt on the spines. Light wear to the cover corners. The top & bottom edges of the spines are worn with small pieces missing. Both volumes are tightly bound with no cracks and no loose pages. All covers are firmly attached. Both volumes have consistent foxing throughout. Overall in Good+ condition.
