Notes from Dad: Encouraging dads and a fatherless generation with stories and lessons from today's dads

“Every dad is a father, but not every father is a dad.”
— John H. McGee Jr.

It’s often said that “a daughter’s first love, and a son’s first hero, is Dad.” Children have a deep longing for a positive connection with their father. Every dad holds a desire to prepare his children for a world without him, to make a meaningful impact, and to leave behind a lasting legacy…to leave the world a little better than he found it.

In “Notes From Dad: Encouraging Dads and a Fatherless Generation with Stories and Lessons From Today’s Dads”, over thirty devoted dads come together to share captivating and inspiring stories and the lessons learned from their journey through fatherhood. Like friends sharing stories around a campfire, men from diverse walks of life, spanning multiple generations, gather within these pages to share their wisdom with today’s fathers. Through this captivating anthology, fathers are encouraged to step into their role as the dad their children both need and deserve.

Countless young people have been raised in homes without an engaged dad—whether that’s due to a physical absence or an emotionally disengaged father. In “Notes From Dad,” men who are influential and respected leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities join forces to offer hope and encouragement to this generation in need of positive male guidance.

Featuring the work of “Legacy Letter” founder Blake Brewer, “Notes From Dad’’ empowers readers with the inspiration and resources to write their own chapter. Diving deeper, it offers readers the unique opportunity to pen their heartfelt notes of love and encouragement, leaving a legacy for their children right here within these pages.
