Originally published 1836, a fund for building the Anglican Church (now St. Paul's) this edition comprises an entirely new lithograph from a drawing made from a different position near the church of St. Demetrius the Bombardier, and presents a different perspective. Bookseller ink stamp front paste-down, archival tape repair at upper stub. ABBEY LIFE 545. Referencing Mrs. Bracebridge, this edition and noting "Coloured zincograph." BLACKMER 193. Spine worn head and foot. Contemporary three quarter black morocco over dark green cloth covered boards stamped in blind and gilt. Very good.
