Notes on the Early Sculptured Crosses, Shrines and Monuments in the Present Diocese of Carlisle.

Half leather binding with gilt title and decorations to spine, top edges gilt. General wear to exterior as shown, front board with mark to cloth. Previous owners stamp to front pastedown. Inner joint cracked. Pages complete with a total of 78 plates, including frontispiece, 1 plate is in colour. Many illustrations throughout text, including one double page map of Viking Settlements. Light age toning and the odd little mark here and there, otherwise pages and plates are generally clean as shown.
