1880. No Edition Remarks. 303 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Frontispiece has been partially colours with felt tips. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has moderate damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
