Hardcover, no dust jacket. Acceptable. Binding is sound. Ink underlining on first and third page of Introduction. Paper is age toned and foxed, but not remotely brittle. Some creasing to pages. Boards are shelf worn, bumped, rubbed and soiled. Some type of edge staining to the head edge and upper extremeties, not sure of the cause. Maybe smoke from a fireplace? If so, odor is quite subtle.
