See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original half bound calf leather with marbled paper sides. Exterior has severe chipping to both the paper and leather, approximately 50% of the spine is missing. Interior text pages are tight, nothing loose. The book has moisture damage appears to be mainly affecting the end pages and pastedowns. There is some minor staining to the upper outside corners but this does not affect the text or the usability of the book. The last 10 to 12 pages also has some minor chipping to the same upper outside corner area… Possibly from something chewing on it. Hinge is also cracked at rear board and half title page. This appears to be first US edition, published without advertisements in the front or rear. Condition is borderline poor.
