Pleasant half leather rebinding of Archbishop Trench's thoughtful, scholarly explanations of parable. A poet in the circle of Wordsworth, Trench entered the Church but continued his literary endeavours. Raised bands, all edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Prize plate to front pastedown. London Diocesan board of education crest to cover. Leather is mildly rubbed but retains a handsome look. Contents are prim and clean, binding is tight. Good/very good.
