Full limp black leather with spine & cover titles plus decorations in gilt; 8vo; 83+7pp ads at rear; illustrated with 1-page of engravings; all edges gilt; patterned endsheets; 8th edition stated. A title that went through numerous editions as knowledge of shot gun ballistics was in a transition stage. This copy in VG condition with the slightest of wear at spine ends; internally very clean & bright with 7 pages of related advertisements including 2 color ads for smokeless gun powder.
