[4] 336p, plus folding table and folding frontispiece map (20"x15"). "An Appendix" Philadelphia, Samuel H Smith 1800is the second state with the John Sappington and contains the map(p52) in text. Not so recent rebound in 3/4 calf and gray boards new endpapers, uniform light foxing, map very fine lightly foxed and having a short closed tear at the spine. Offset to the front panel, spine sunned. Howes J78 & J74.
