Nothing can be as Crazy...touches upon some interesting facets of the urban middle-class as it takes us through a tour of some fragments of Suresh's life. Suresh: the protagonist and the naive bank officer whom destiny makes sure to leave at crossroads! He has his own set of moral norms, and though he himself indulges in all sorts of unscrupulous activities, he gets very perplexed over the uninhibited behaviour of his female colleagues. His middle-class upbringing comes even in the way of his relationship with his batch-mate, Monalika, when she puts his typical middle-class attitude of 'having it and not eating it too' responsible for their break-up. What should one do when the whole system is corrupt: fight back and lose everything, or be quiet and fall in line just like everyone else? What are the bases for relationships and marital trust? How can we learn from hardships and turn them to our advantage?

About the Author
The writer, having been from the service-class himself and from the cream of India's premier institutes (IIT and IIM), has given a first-hand picture of life in the Indian service-class, hitting out at its hypocritical character. A B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and trained at IIM Ahmedabad, Ajay Mohan Jain worked with a leading commercial bank, where he got the opportunity to see life very closely through various phases and at various places all over India. The entire revelation was so compelling that he 'dropped-out' to pen these down. He has been writing regularly - mostly on topics of general interest for various newspapers and periodicals - but it is his first full-length work.
