Now That You Are Mine [2003 1ST EDITION & 1ST PRINTING - FINE COPY]

Steidl, 2002. Hardcover in red leatherette boards with title in white to front panel and spine. 72 pages with numerous photographs taken by Sondergaard in the Skelbaekgade area of Copenhagen Denmark from 1997-98. A late nineties masterpiece. "Sondergaard photographed prostitutes on their beat. Her photos depict the conditions under which these women pursue their occupation. This book, however, is more than a report on one aspect of society. It's a research project about the situation of these women in general, about their struggles and passions." Cited in Martin Parr / Gerry Badger, The Photobook A History, Volume 3, 2014, p. 93. BOOK CONDITION: Fine; a solid, tight, clean copy with a few light bumps to edges and lower front corner. Nice copy.
