Synopsis

The morning Fiona died started like any other at the assisted living center--until she found herself floating above her bed where her body lay turning blue. This afterlife bears no resemblance to the one in the Bible. Fiona’s consciousness is now in the form of an atomic configuration of subatomic particles with extra sensory powers and the ability to telepath and teleport. As Fiona struggles to make the most of her new existence, she desperately wants to avoid the mistakes she made in her past. Death has given her a second chance on the most level of playing fields. Everyone looks like a glowing ball of energy and subsists on sunlight. But right off the bat, she alienates her new friends and Fiona realizes that happiness still depends on dealing with her old baggage. She has to change—not the part where she is resourceful but the part where she is so angry and aggressive. At first, Fiona uses her new powers to confront her abusive childhood; then to restore the benefits of her lost body. Who knew that quantum mechanics could be so useful?
