About 90 unnumbered leaves, 8-1/2 by 14, printed rectos only. Screenplay for the 1944 film. Original studio mimeo with instructions to Xerox and file number written red on front leaf. The screenplay written by Chandler based on the novel by Rachel Field. This was the second of 5 screenplays written by Chandler. The film was directed by Irving Pichel and starred Alan Ladd, Loretta Young, and Susan Hayward. Very good, stapled. Short tears and snags to the eges. With top leaf nearly detached at bottom of three staples.
