About the Author
Full professor in Analytical Science, sits on the editorial board of several international journals such as Analytical Letters, Biosensors & Bioelectronics and Talanta. He has been coordinator and leader of participant units in several European projects
Dr. Ilaria Palchetti received the degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Firenze in 1994 and the PhD in Biotechnology at the Cranfield University in 1999. She is assistant professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of Florence. She has broad expertise in biosensor development and in environmental application of biosensors.

I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as a provider (AHA-BUCH GmbH) via the Internet platforms AbeBooks and/or ZVAB. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any of your own terms and conditions used by you will be objected to

§ 5 Choice of law, place of performance, place of jurisdiction
(1) German law shall apply. In the case of consumers, this choice of law shall only apply insofar as this does not withdraw the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the consumer's habitual residence (principle of favourability).

The same applies if you do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or the EU or if the domicile or habitual residence is not known at the time the action is brought.
