Synopsis
Welcome to Pasadena, California, circa 1970 to 1990. The date doesn’t matter, but the days and hours do. Known to all the world as a city of science and art, who could also know its seedy, gritty underside. Old Town was once Skid Row…with dive bars, pawn shops and bookie joints studding Colorado Boulevard like shell casings at a crime scene. A City of Devils - where everyone is on the make, on the take or half-baked. When the wealthy, the wonton or the desperate get caught up short, their go-to guy is Luke Fitz. Tighten your belt, check your bra strap and chamber a round. The night is young. A City of Devils is a trilogy, Nuevo Noir crime fiction, from no less an author than Nils Grevillius.
About the Author
Long known in Metro Los Angeles as a Private Eye, first with the Pinkerton Service, then in his own Pasadena based practice, Nils Grevillius brings long, hard experience to his work as a writer. Three decades of field work...stake outs, interrogations, wresting the details from cons, con-men, whores and politicos, show in every page of his crime fiction. Soldier, traveler, writer. Many hats fit. A few want Nils Grevillius to go away. They wish they'd never crossed his path, while many more cannot wait for another book by the author. If he did not yet exist, it may have become necessary to invent him. He assures all, that the last chapter is not yet written.
