About the Author
Pascale Domingo is a combustion physicist and aero-thermochemist who uses direct and large eddy simulation to study flames and reactive flows in turbulent fuel-air mixtures. She is a director of research for the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and is affiliated with the CNRS CORIA laboratory. Pascale Domingo completed a Ph.D. in the modeling of plasma flow physics in 1991 at the University of Rouen Normandy, followed by a postdoctoral position in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department of Stanford University. Domingo was elected to the 2019 class of Fellows of The Combustion Institute, "for excellent contributions to the numerical simulation of flames including hybrid combustion regimes predicting major and minor chemical species".

I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as a provider (AHA-BUCH GmbH) via the Internet platforms AbeBooks and/or ZVAB. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any of your own terms and conditions used by you will be objected to

§ 5 Choice of law, place of performance, place of jurisdiction
(1) German law shall apply. In the case of consumers, this choice of law shall only apply insofar as this does not withdraw the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the consumer's habitual residence (principle of favourability).
(2) The place of performance for all services arising from the existing business relationships with us as well as the place of jurisdiction is our registered office, insofar as you are not a consumer, but a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law. The same applies if you do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or the EU or if the domicile or habitual residence is not known at the time the action is brought. (3) The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall expressly not apply.
