About this title

Synopsis

"... a Numerical and Numismatical Register of Lodges Which Formed the United Grand Lodge of England" by William James Hughan is a detailed historical record of Freemason lodges in England. This register meticulously documents the numbers of lodges during 1813, with alterations noted for 1814, 1832, and 1863. It includes years of constitution under the "Moderns" and "Ancients," providing valuable insight into the organizational structure and evolution of Freemasonry.

This book is an invaluable resource for historians, researchers, and members of Masonic societies, offering a comprehensive overview of the lodges that shaped the United Grand Lodge of England. The numismatical aspect adds another layer of interest for those studying historical currency and its connection to societal organizations. Hughan's work remains a significant contribution to the study of Freemasonry and its historical context within England.
