Numerical modeling of Air Quality and Diffusion

Air pollution has become ubiquitous now a days in urban and industrial areas. It is pervasive and too dispersed for any collective treatment. For any engineer, scientist or environment manager a thorough understanding of the individual and integrated behavior along with effects of air pollution on the environment is essential. Air is considered as one of the most vital and precious natural resource. The increase in population, transformation and industrial development has resulted in the release of all kinds of pollutants into the environment. At present the control of air pollution is one of the difficult tasks. An advection-diffusion numerical model for the effect of wet deposition of primary pollutant due to area source is presented

C M Suresha has obtained M.Sc.(1995) Ph.D.(2014) from VTU. He is having 20 years of teaching experience. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at R.N.S.Institute of Technology, Bangalore. His area of interest is atmospheric science and has published several papers in Journals of International repute.
