About the Author

The Author: Wallace A. Murphree received his B.A. from The University of Montevallo (formerly Alabama College), and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. He has taught at Mississippi State University since the inception of its Department of Philosophy and Religion in 1967, serving as Department Head from 1980 through 1987.
