About the Author
Donovan Gow is a registered nurse with experience in medical-surgical nursing, hospice, and occupational health. He founded Nursing Tree to help nursing students survive and thrive in nursing school and his books are part of that effort: simple, to the point, and high quality but with a bit of humor to keep things from getting too heavy. He had a rich and varied career before nursing including stints: in the U.S. Army's 25'th Infantry Division, where he found he was exceptionally bad at taking orders; as a Wall Street equities analyst, which he misses not at all; and as a massage therapist, where he met and learned from many wonderful and caring people. When not nursing or writing about nursing, he loves hiking around beautiful Arizona, martial arts, recovering from injuries from martial arts, and making underappreciated puns. He lives in Tucson, Arizona with his lovely and oh-so-patient wife, two wonderful and quirky kids, and two peculiar cats.
