Brenda Lewis Cleary, PhD, RN, FAAN, currently holds the position of Executive Director of the North Carolina Center for Nursing, a state-funded agency committed to ensuring sufficient nursing resources to meet the health care needs of the citizens of North Carolina.
Rebecca B. Rice, EdD, RN, MPH, is a Legislative Consultant at Macaulay & Burtch, PC, in Richmond, Virginia. In that position, she lobbies for the Commonwealth Midwives Alliance and the Virginia Dietetics Association and assists other lobbyists with advocacy work. She also codirects the Virginia Quality Healthcare Network.
