High Tech for Strings was designed as a comprehensive technique book for building the capabilities of the high school level string orchestra, High Tech for Strings contains a wealth of technical studies, bowing studies, position studies, etudes and melodic studies that can be used throughout the school year to help the developing string ensemble build a solid technique. It has been meticulously written by a leader in the field and carefully tested with students throughout the writing process. Examples and studies use familiar folk and classical material and the books progress from the easier sharp keys that feature open strings (G major, D major to more challenging Keys (Bb major, F minor) and higher positions.
