About the Author
Davy Crockett, RN, FACHE, has more than 30 years of experience in acute, post-acute, hospital operations and coaching leaders. Starting his healthcare journey as a nurse, Davy has also served as director of surgical nursing services and rehabilitation services, and served as vice president of nursing and patient care services. Now as a coach for Studer Group, Davy partners with healthcare organizations to sustain results in patient experience, employee and physician engagement, and quality metrics.<P> <P>Ted James, MD, MHCM, is a surgical oncologist and medical director. Dr. James brings his experience leading multidisciplinary teams and integrated care models to his work as a physician coach and speaker with Studer Group. Dr. James has served in variety of physician leadership roles in healthcare organizations and professional societies. His current area of administrative focus is cancer program development and strategic planning for oncology centers.<P> <P>Jeff Morris, MD, MBA, FACS, FRCSC, has more than 30 years of medical practice experience, including 12 years of physician executive leadership. Now as a physician coach and international speaker with Studer Group, Dr. Morris enjoys sharing his passion for servant leadership, service, excellence, and improving the patient experience. He works with physicians, medical staff leaders, executives, and healthcare workers at all levels to "connect the dots". Dr. Morris still maintains a small practice in non-surgical orthopedics, hypnotherapy, and medical acupuncture.<P> <P>Anthony (Tony) Schuster, MD, MBA, CPE, has more than 17 years of healthcare experience, both as a clinician and a physician executive. He is a practicing anesthesiologist and recently served in the role of medical director of perioperative services for an outpatient center. In addition, Dr. Schuster provides physician coaching for Studer Group and is passionate about fostering environments that support better care for patients and healthier atmospheres for clinicians and staff.<P> <P>Erin Shipley, RN, MSN, is a registered nurse with over 10 years of leadership experience. As a former clinical nurse manager for two system community hospitals and as a nurse leader in outpatient, ambulatory, and inpatient units, Erin consistently provided excellent results. Now as a coach and solutions expert with Studer Group, Erin continues to be innovative as she transforms departments to a culture of service.<P> <P>Diana Topjian, RN, MSN, DM, C-ENP, has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has held positions ranging from direct line staff nurse to executive leadership roles in both academic and community-based hospitals.
