16mo. Full burgundy calf with gilt rules, gilt spine lettering and compartments. x, 240pp. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Very good. Spine slightly darkened, though the gilt lettering, decorations and devices remain bright and fresh -- and internally fine. A tight, quite handsome early (not first) printing in lovely custom binding of the verse collection that earned Lowell the 1926 Pulitzer Prize.
