In two parts: the first is on the cowboy, telling of a Valentine Dance at the Matador Ranch and a few "chuckwagon" recipes; the second part relates the early history of many of the famous old ranches in Texas: Goodnight Ranch, King Ranch, XIT Ranch, and several others.
