Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt title on brown label, there are small pieces of the label missing, decorative gilt floral design, the flowers are onlaid in green morocco, there is a small indentation at the tail. Joints good condition. Corners good condition gently bumped. Boards good condition quarter vellum and green cloth boards with a gilt line, some darkening to the edges of the boards. Page edges good condition top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition illustrated paste downs (landscapes with road and the sun at the front and moon at the rear) by W. Hyde, tanned with some foxing. · End papers good condition illustrated end papers (landscapes with road and the sun at the front and moon at the rear) by W. Hyde, tanned with some foxing, there is an Ex Libris label pasted for MA Swayne on to the reverse of the front end paper. Title good condition lightly tanned.
