THE ORGANISATION OF SCIENCE IN ENGLAND A Retrospect

Red cloth cover. ix+204, errata list pasted on lower p.vi after 'Contents' (these all pertain to removal of authors' names in chapter bibliography lists beyond first entry, a rather pedantic lay-out design matter one would have thought), blue-tinted top edge; slight brown flecking to fore-edge otherwise clean, tight and unmarked inside and out; clipped jacket in open-backed protective sleeve as acquired is dust-darkened with occasional brown flecks, spine a little more so, to joints either side of top spine (obscured by sleeve), edges however appear quite unworn. Primarily about scientific and technical education and presence of science in universities in Britain from early 19th century to post-First World War.
