Item description from seller

Original line engraving on wove paper. Condition is very good minus, with age toning throughout and some minor scratches along margins and edges. Matting measures 23 x 28in. The engraving represents the Battle of Flamborough Head between British and American ships off of the east coast of England. Below the title and dedication there are statements in French and English detailing forces and losses during the battle. The painting by Richard Paton is currently located at the United States Naval Academy Museum in Annapolis, Maryland. 1417597. Special Collections - Upstairs.
