An original blank, unissued stock certificate for the Dayton Wright Airplane Company. Framed together with a couple reproductions of photos of the company's airplanes and a metal figure of a plane. The grouping measures 20 x 16 inches. Fine condition. The Dayton Wright Airplane Company was founded in 1917 by Dayton inventors Charles F. Kettering and Edward A. Deeds with Orville Wright operating as a consultant. The company priduced several thousand planes for the US Army during World War One. After the war, the company was sold to General Motors in 1919 who closed it in 1923.
