no date c. 1882 as Milmore appears to be in his late thirties in the picture. Original 4 x 6 inch photograph is mounted on a cabinet card. Photographer: Warren's Portraits , 465 Washington St, Boston. Milmore , who lived from 1844-1883 created the Roxbury Soldiers' Monument in 1867 which stands in Forest HiIls Cemetery and the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in 1877 which stands in Boston Commons . He died at 39 and was himself immortalized by the famous monument commissioned by his parents for him and his brother called "The Angel of Death and the Sculptor" created by the renowned Daniel Chester French .
