THE OUTLAW'S RIDE The Life and Music of David Allan Coe

"He never asked for permission. He never needed it."

From Ohio reform schools to Outlaw Country legend, David Allan Coe built one of American music's most enduring careers entirely on his own terms. The Outlaw's Ride is the full story — the prison years, the hearse parked outside the Ryman, the songs that became standards, and the audience that followed him across five decades because nobody else sounded like the truth quite the way he did.

The ride never ends.
