Dana Oakes: Mr Oakes is currently an Educational Consultant and was formerly Director of Respiratory Care, VA Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; Educational Coordinator/Instructor, Respiratory Care Department, Children's Hospital National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; and Director of Clinical Education, Respiratory Care Program, Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD. Mr. Oakes has been in the Respiratory field for over 30 years and has over 14 years of teaching experience including one-, two-, and four-year advanced Respiratory Care programs.

Scot Jones: Mr. Jones is currently a Respiratory Supervisor in a progressive respiratory therapy department at Vidant Medical Center, a 900+ bed academic hospital in eastern North Carolina. His passion for education is combined with his own ongoing need for the perfect pocket reference in various clinical scenarios. His daily experience with therapists of all experience levels helps further shape and define Oakes' Pocket Guides.
