Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles with gilt bands either side, worn top and tail, colour has faded, top and base of the spine folded and creased. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards good condition pink cloth boards with blind tooled detail, colour has faded around the edges, the rear board has some black marks. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, fore and bottom edges lightly tanned, some pages standing proud. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition plain. End papers good condition plain, free end papers are tanned and foxed. Title good condition first title page has a b/w vignette Capercailzie Shooting and is lightly tanned and foxed, the text title page is also lightly tanned and foxed.
