From the biographical sketch at the beginning of the book: "Agnes I. Eason, one of Florida's outstanding women, has many and varied interests; coupled with a charming personality, and wealth of typical Irish humor, which appears in much of her writing. Besides being a widely published poet, and associate editor of 'The Garret,' she is a real estate broker, notary, and club woman. She also writes under the pen name of Isabel Eden.".
