Small 8vo. Hardcover. Pp. 109. In very good condition; professionally rebound in quarter-leather over marbled boards. Gilt title on the spine. Very light shelf-wear to the cover and pages themselves are clean and unmarked, with light foxing. A handful of corners are slightly folded but generally no significant creases. John Aikin was an English medical doctor and surgeon. Later in life he devoted himself wholly to biography and writing in periodicals.
