Add to basketMichael Grove is a lifelong resident of mid-Michigan. After attending Michigan State University and Lansing Community College, he began teaching courses in "Solar Housing and Energy Efficient Design" in the Architecture department at L.C.C. which he did for over 15 years. During this same time he formed and operated a successful home building and real estate company. Mike has held many leadership positions with various organizations such as the Homebuilders Association, The Jaycees and The Order of DeMolay. Mike takes great pride in helping other people at all times and is involved in many charitable causes. He has been the manager of HomeLoans in Lansing since 2001.
Mike has been writing poetry since he was 10 years old, however the vast majority of his work has been completed since 1996. In addition to the three-book Observations series of poetry, Mike is working on a fiction novel as well as an elementary level primer on solar energy.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys music, boating, fishing, shooting pool, golf, bowling and Texas hold-em. He dabbles in keyboard creations and works at putting some of his poetry to music. He appreciates spending quality time with his two children as well as his dog, Jake.
