Tight binding; previous owner marks and Washington Medical Library Association marks to prelims, else interior clean throughout; edges heavily rubbed; corners slightly bumped; endpapers heavily foxed, text block lightly foxed; all 29 plates present; Good. Sir Astley Cooper (1768-1841) was a British surgeon and anatomist who made significant contributions to vascular surgery, otology, the anatomy and pathology of mammary glands and testicles, and the pathology and surgery of hernia. He described a number of diseases and anatomical structures, which are named after him. . KCMS.
