CCCCXXIV/CCCCXXVI (as originally issued) and CCCCXXV), taken from a disbound volume of 'The Edinburgh Encyclopedia' (Third Edn., 1830), showing bw. engravings of (Plate CCCCXXIV/CCCCXXVI) odometers, and the Imperial Observatory at Peking ('cutaway' illus, showing scientific instruments); plate very lightly soiled at top edge/(Plate CCCCXXV) elevation and ground plan of Edinburgh University, ground plans of the new and the old Observatory of Naples, and architectural illus. of 'Bramin's Observatory at Benares'. Both prints fresh, paper bright/very crisp. Lightweight items hence overseas customers will have SHIPPING CHARGES REDUCED subsequent to ordering.
