This is a book about communication behavior: how we conceptualize it, observe it, measure it, and analyze it.

John A. Courtright (PhD, The University of Iowa) is Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Delaware. He has been the editor of Communication Quarterly (1998–2001) and is currently the editor of Human Communication Research.
