Exterior is spotted and soiled and shows bumping and wear to corners, cloth is splitting at the exterior hinge area at the upper left of front. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues, even at boards. Pages are toned due to age and foxing is present throughout. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Only handwriting found is on the front end page where there is faint penciling of either a price or initials the upper right corner. The rear end page has some tearing and light creasing near the lower outside corner. Title page states "Second American Edition".
