About the Authors: Virginia Barrett is a poet, writer, visual artist, and educator. Her most recent books are Radiance: Poems from Mendocino and the travel memoir Mbira Maker Blues: A Healing Journey to Zimbabwe. She lives in San Francisco and is a member of the Revolutionary Poets Brigade.



Bobby Coleman is a resident of San Francisco and a founding member of the Revolutionary Poets Brigade. He is also an attorney, management consultant, and a political advisor. A veteran of many electoral campaigns, he has been active with the San Francisco tenants union for over two decades.
